QR code lovin

I have recently started a love affair with QR codes. I have seen so many of my favorite classroom bloggers use them and I have been itching to try them. So….I did and my kiddos love it!! I started with a pack that I got on TPT from Teaching with Nancy. You can get it here

My kids loved checking their work and scanning their code.

Due to the fact that we have only 15 more days left of school, I wanted to reward my munchkins for all their hard work. They have been so awesome and I wanted to do something special to countdown the last few days of school. I decided to create a countdown board using QR codes. I created a code for the last 15 days of school and each day we scan a new code and it reveals something fun for the class to do or some sort of special treat. For example, for the 13th day, they scanned the code and it said "no homework tonight". Obviously they went nuts! It was such a fun, new way to countdown the days.
