My Classroom

So this year, I was moved into the  brand new kindergarten wing at my school. It is a kindergarten teacher's dream come true. Not only is it really spacious, but I get a work room with big windows, and a great kitchen. Because it was so new and pretty I wanted a really clean, but unique classroom theme. After finding a vintage seashell fabric at Joann's Fabrics, I decided to go with a whimsical nautical theme. I am really happy with the results. Everything is unique, and one of a kind made specifically for my classroom.

I used a rather simple color palette and stuck with coral, a light vintage yellow, and a deep navy blue, with pops of a red color throughout. Instead of using colored butcher paper for my bulletin boards, I used darling Cynthia Rowley striped and polka dot wrapping paper I found as well as regular brown butcher paper that I found at the dollar tree.
